Care guide — Bella's Design

The Napper Sofa combines orthopedic foam, premium fabric covers, and solid wood legs. Each element requires slightly different care to maintain its look and integrity.

Cover washing: Remove the fabric cover by unzipping along the base seam. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with mild, colour-safe detergent. Do not tumble dry — lay flat or air dry to preserve shape and prevent shrinkage.

Foam core: Never submerge the foam core in water. Spot clean with a damp cloth and a small amount of upholstery cleaner. Allow to air dry completely — at least 24 hours — before replacing the cover.

Wooden legs: Wipe monthly with a lightly damp cloth, then dry immediately. Apply a thin coat of natural wood wax or conditioning oil every 6 months to maintain the finish and prevent cracking.

Daily maintenance: Fluff and reshape the cushion insert weekly. Rotate the sofa 180° every month to ensure even wear across the foam.

Material note: All Napper Sofa covers are pre-treated with a water-resistant finish. Re-apply a fabric protector spray after every 4–5 washes to maintain protection.

The Cargo Bed is engineered for both home use and car travel. Its water-resistant canvas shell, premium leather suspension straps, and removable liner each need specific care to stay functional and refined.

Liner (washable): Remove the inner liner via the zipper along the lower edge. Machine wash on a 30°C gentle cycle. Tumble dry on low heat or air dry flat. Do not iron directly on the surface.

Canvas shell: Spot clean only using a damp cloth and mild soap. For heavier dirt, use a soft-bristled brush in circular motions. Allow to air dry naturally — never use a dryer on the shell as it may shrink the canvas or warp the structure.

Leather hardware straps: Wipe with a dry cloth after each use if the bed has been outdoors. Every 2–3 months, apply a small amount of leather conditioner to prevent drying and cracking. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight which fades leather.

Car headrest clips: Wipe the clip mechanism with a dry cloth after car use to remove dust. Inspect the locking teeth every 3 months. If resistance feels reduced, contact us for a replacement clip set.

Travel tip: After every car journey, air the Cargo Bed for at least 30 minutes before storing or reusing indoors to prevent moisture buildup between the canvas layers.

CNC-milled from solid wood with food-safe 304 stainless steel bowls. The modular design means each component can be cleaned independently for maximum hygiene.

Stainless steel bowls: Dishwasher safe on the top rack. For hand washing, use warm soapy water and a soft cloth. Dry immediately to prevent water spots. Do not use steel wool or abrasive cleaners — they scratch the mirror finish.

Wooden deck and frame: Wipe down weekly with a slightly damp cloth, then dry immediately. Never submerge wood in water or leave standing liquid on the surface. Apply food-safe wood oil every 3 months to replenish moisture.

Assembly joints: Check the mortise-and-tenon joints every 6 months. If any wobble develops, disassemble, apply a small amount of food-safe wood glue to the joint, reassemble and allow 24 hours to cure clamped.

Finish restoration: For the Matte Black or White Oak finishes, use the finish-matched touch-up pen (available from our store) to address any minor scratches before they deepen.

Wood health: Solid wood expands and contracts with humidity. Maintain indoor humidity between 40–60% to prevent cracking or warping, particularly in heated rooms during winter.

The Smart Brush combines a precision fine-spray misting system with a self-cleaning bristle head. Consistent maintenance ensures both mechanisms perform at full efficiency.

After each use: Press the self-clean button to retract the bristles and release collected hair into a waste tray. Empty the tray and rinse with warm water. Pat dry before retracting.

Water tank (weekly): Empty any remaining water from the spray tank and rinse with clean water. Refill only with still, clean water — never use mineral water, essential oils, or grooming sprays in the tank as they clog the nozzle.

Nozzle cleaning (monthly): Soak the spray nozzle cap in a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water for 20 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. This prevents mineral buildup from reducing spray pressure.

Bristle deep clean (monthly): Remove the bristle head by pressing the release tab and rotating 90°. Soak in warm soapy water for 10 minutes, rinse, shake dry and reattach when fully dry.

Charging: Charge via the included USB-C cable only. Do not expose to water while charging. Full charge time is 2 hours for approximately 8 hours of use.

The Nightwalker is an evolved retractable leash with integrated LED lighting, a built-in GPS module, and a high-tensile cord rated to 50kg. Regular maintenance keeps all systems reliable.

Cord inspection (weekly): Before each walk, pull out the full cord length and run your fingers along it to check for fraying, kinks, or abrasions. Replace immediately if any damage is found — do not use a damaged cord.

Housing and button: Wipe the housing with a damp cloth after walks in rain, mud, or dust. The retract mechanism button should be pressed and released 5–6 times to clear any grit from the mechanism. Do not submerge.

LED strip: The LED strip is sealed and requires no maintenance. If LEDs become dim or stop working, check the charge level first. Charge via USB-C before concluding there is a fault.

GPS module: The GPS chip syncs to the companion app. If tracking accuracy decreases, update the app to ensure you have the latest firmware, then perform a reset by holding the GPS button for 5 seconds until the indicator flashes twice.

Safety notice: Never allow the cord to snap back rapidly while attached to a dog — always hold the brake button to retract slowly. Inspect the carabiner clasp before every walk.
